We have entered into an agreement with the Knights of Columbus (Flaherty Council) in Glenside in which they have allowed us to use a room to display items from Bishop McDevitt history. Over the past year we have spent a little more than $10,000 renovating the room and purchasing display cases for memorabilia. 

Once the McDevitt Room is complete, we will make it available for class reunions that are held at the Knights and hope to also have certain days where anyone can come in and see the room.

Since 2022, we have awarded over $15,000 in grants to assist with the tuition of children of our alumni who attend Catholic schools in the Philadelphia area. These schools include both diocesan and private Catholic high schools.

A Gold & White Grant is a one-time award of $1000 but we are working to make them 4-year grants. We have also assisted former McDevitt students who have fallen behind in their tuition at their new schools in order to ensure they graduate from a Catholic high school.

We are proud to be able to continue the tradition of  holding the annual Alumni Memorial Mass in November where we remember our deceased classmates. 

 Over the past three years we have held the mass in a different parish and also hosted a post mass luncheon.  These include Saint Raymond of Penafort, Queen of Peace, and Saint Luke the Evangelist. 

We do need help with the expenses that we incur in hosting the mass and luncheon.
